Hon. Thomas B Turay said in continuation of his efforts to fight against Ebola in his constituency he is providing logistical support to health workers and stakeholders to combat the virus.

He disclosed that the support was funded by the Government of Sierra Leone and properly explained to his people how the money will be spent to ensure transparency and accountability.

The Hon. Member of parliament further stated that one of his key mandates is to work for the nation and for the people that voted him into office.

He presented hundred pairs of hand wash buckets, hundreds of hand gloves, soap and Dettol to section chiefs, health workers and youth groups, adding that he knew the items were not enough for all but he urged his constituents to make do with what was available.

He called on his constituents to demonstrate understanding and cooperation in the fight against the common enemy.

He pointed out that the fight against Ebola should be seen as a common cause as the virus does not know boundaries between political parties.
