Hon Johnson Blast

The Member of Parliament for Constituency 111 Hon David Johnson has warned all APC Members of Parliament all over the country not to allow the God given power to slip for their people from their hands by not working in their respective constituencies.

Hon Johnson made this disclosure during the weekend when he was addressing stakeholders, fellow politicians and his constituents at Constituency 111. He told his fellow politicians that if they fail to carry developments to their various constituencies they will be putting the party’s image into disrepute.

He furthered that before coming into politics, you should have already identified the problems affecting the different communities in your constituency, and said you should start work with whatever little you have. If you only rely on constituency allowances, then you likely to be late as funds are not easily available these days. After sharing his experience, he told the marmot crowd that he is still facing challenges.

The ex footballer stressed that this is the time voters should be asking candidates who intend to vie for positions of trust what they have done for the party and community as according to him if you are waiting to grab the power first it will be very difficult for you to complete your planned project. Noting that this is major reason why many MPs and councilors fail in their respective wards and constituencies, Hon Johnson said the blessing of His Excellency Ernest Bai Koroma showered on them all during the last election.

Johnson as he is fondly called, said he is going to work diligently for his people and the APC party as they were the ones that put him into power. With barely two years to the next election, he will make sure he does his best to retain the seat.
