Christian makes shock return to the Premier League
Leone Stars Christian Caulker is set to make a short return to the Sierra Leone Premier League this month after he was left out of the Leone Stars squad that will face Swaziland this month.
According to the player’s representative Prince Scott confirmed to journalists that Caulker will be playing in the Sierra Leone Premier league with his old club FC Kallon and not FC Johansen or East End Lions as speculated by the media in the country.
Scott further noted that Christian is currently playing a 5 days football tournament in the USA with FC Hammers a soccer team which has produced big stars in the American soccer history, he also maintained that Christian will be playing for only two months with FC Kallon and after his short spell he will make a big news return to Europe for the 2014/15 season but refused to call a particular team name in Europe ( I can confirm to you that Christian will be in Europe next season he said).
Caulker has been the number one goalkeeper for the Leone Stars since making his international debut gainst Guinea Bissau on October 15, 2007.
He started in all six games for Sierra Leone at the first round group stage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria and South Africa. Caulker is highly regarded as the best Sierra Leonean goalkeeper at this time. Caulker was the first-choice goalkeeper for Sierra Leone U-17 team and at the 2005 UEFA-CAF Meridian Cup in Turkey.
