It will offer one lucky winner Le10, 000, 000 (ten million Leones) on a daily basis from Monday 7th April to Sunday 4th May 2014.

Joe Abassa Bangura is the company’s Chief Corporate Affairs Officer. He told this press that customers should recharge 100units in order to qualify for the daily draw. “Every additional 100units recharged, equals to one more chance. This means the more you recharge, the greater your chances to win,” he said, and added that those who recharge less than that would have their units accumulated till it reaches 100units to get one chance. The recharge period to be covered daily, he said will be from midnight of the previous day to 11:00pm of the current day. “If a subscriber wants to know how many chances he/she has got for the day, he/she should send a blank message to 966,” says Mr. Bangura, revealing further that the daily draws will be held live on SLBC TV from 10:30pm to 11:00pm daily, with simultaneous broadcasts on other major radio stations nationwide.

“Winners are reminded of the Provisions of the Finance Act 2008 that all Lottery winnings from Le500, 000 and above are subject to 10% Lottery Tax. Africell is proud to maintain our record as the GSM Company that has given back the most to Sierra Leoneans,” he said.

He pointed out that the company believes that one of the best ways to celebrate the country’s independence is generosity rewarded to loyal customers.

“Africell continues to meet the needs of its subscribers. The company will not relent in making sure that it responds to the communication needs of all,” says Tommy Terry Coker, Media Relations Supervisor.

“Recharge your phone, use your recharged units and we will pay you for talking with Africell,” says Head of Media, Nancy L. Joseph.

The company held its first presentation of prizes to four winners for draws held from Monday 7th to Thursday 10th April 2014. The winners are Abdul Mansaray, a JSS Pupil of Monkey Bush, Waterloo whose GSM Number is 088 700 116; Abdulai Bah, a Bike Rider residing in Makeni with GSM number 030 421 293; Alhaji Dugba, a trader residing in Pendembu with GSM number 088 949 124; and Jariatu Bah, a trader in Waterloo with GSM Number 077 761 439.

The company also announced the peasant twist in the Crazy Cash Promotion, as starting Monday 14th the daily star prize was increased from Le10, 000, 000 (ten million Leones) to Le15, 000, 000 (fifteen Million Leones). Lots and lots of people continue to grab the winning opportunity from the promotion. The question that linger in the minds of the over two million Africell Subscribers in ‘who will be the next winner?” who knows, it could be you.
