Soja Tong youths hail Anthony Navo Jr.

Young people of the Soja Tong community in the central part of Freetown around Tower Hill and its environs have registered their deep satisfaction for what they referred to as the kind gesture of the Youth Ambassador  Mr. Anthony Navo Jnr. and Mr. Moseray Fadika for the support they gave to the Soja Tong football team to enable them the final in the ongoing Central One Football Association (COFA) competition at the Parade Ground.

Speaking to this medium on Tuesday, February 11, the Public Relations Officer for the team, Mr. Nasim Tejan, noted that these two gentlemen are a blessing to Soja Tong.

He noted that Mr. Navo Jr. is very passionate about young people and he always contributes to their activities.

He added that youths in the urban city are familiar with Junior Navo whose work with the young people earned him an award as Youth Ambassador.

He disclosed that the frequent visits of Mr. Navo to Soja Tong has transformed the mindsets of young people to be violence free and peace loving.

He thanked to Mr. Navo and the Godfather of young people, Mr. Moseray Fadika for their intervention to motivate them to win the trophy come Sunday, February 16.

In an interview with Mr. Navo, he explained that football brings people and nations together so in that regard he wanted to see young people in peace and unity to make this country a better place.

He admonished young people to be innovative and make a living instead of being idle and always begging others.

He advised them to keep the peace as they are about to play the final match.

He stated that Mr. Moseray Fadika is very passionate about youths and football and he has demonstrated it in many forms.

Mr. Navo said he was very happy to note that Government is now working on programmes to make young people realize their potentials.

He encouraged them to keep the faith and have hope that all is not lost. He described himself as peace-setter of youths.

He warned the Soja Tong football team to be peaceful and wished them victory in the final on Sunday.
