384 Win Motorbikes, Le 32 M & AF1 Phones
Africell on Sunday 8th December, 2013 held the 31st edition of the ongoing ‘Okada Bomba’ promotion in which a total of 384 lucky subscribers have won motorbikes, Le 32 million and AF 1 phones.
32 others have each won new motorbikes, another 32 Le 1 million and 320 AF 1 phones.
Africell’s Media Supervisor, Ngadie Josephine Kargbo, who moderated the live program on the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation, said that the promotion commenced on 8th November, 2013 and would end on 24th December, 2013 adding that the promotion would offer Africell subscribers the opportunity to win every day nationwide a motorbike, Le 1 million and 10 AF 1 phones.
Ngadie Josephine Kargbo continued that to participate in the draw, subscribers should send blank text to 777 at the cost of 5 units to automatically qualify for the daily selection.
She went on to inform that 5units on-net and 5 SMS used locally would be awarded to customers for any text message sent to 777 but warned that it must be utilized before 12 midnight on the same day adding, “note that SMS received cannot be used to qualify you for the daily draws that are broadcast live on the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) radio and linked with other major radio stations nationwide between 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily.”
She further revealed that the highest SMS sender would be rewarded with Le 1 million and that three new subscribers that stay connected stand the chance of winning Le 250,000 each to welcome them to the Africell family.
According to Ngadie Josephine Kargbo, a subscriber in Kenema has won three times in the ongoing promotion revealing that the items include 2 motorbikes and one AF I phone and encouraged customers to continue sending blank SMS to 777 to stand the chance of winning various items.
Africell’s Media Supervisor, Mariam Siray ‘Tutu’ Turay stated that the company is continuously addressing the needs of its subscribers and it’s proudly the only network that is constantly working to meet its quality objectives every year with the promotions offered to subscribers.

The winners of the 31st edition draw held on Sunday 8th December, 2013 include 10 subscribers who each won AF 1 phones and they are Abdul Azizi, a businessman of Sibthorpe Street in Freetown with cell phone number 077 429723 who won Le 1 million and Fouad Thorley, a mechanic working at Sierra Rutile with cell phone number 077 821948 who won the star prize of a new motorbike.
Others are Patrick Mattia with cell phone number 088 964084 who won Le 1 million as the highest SMS sender to 777 while three new subscribers each won Le 250,000.
