At that juncture PW1 said, she had a phone call which she attempted responding to, when she told the court that, she saw three young men, including the accused, crossing the road towards where she was standing to receive the phone call, and at same time; waiting for her friend. She explained that two of the accused’s counterparts were holding sticks in their hands.
Further, PW1 said; she was wrapping a head tie on her neck; which she added; the accused-Albert used to strangulate her by tightening it round her neck, through her mouth. Isatu said she became hopeless and fell on the ground as she could not resist. Lying helpless on the ground; PW1 narrated that it was only her friend who was crying and calling for help. Sent by God to rescue the two, was a young man – James Kamara of Gadda Street, Makeni.
