RSLAF welcomes home Joint Force Commander
Various units within the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) and Muslim Jamaats in Freetown last Friday 15th. November, 2013 officially welcomed home the Joint Force Commander (JFC) of the RSLAF, Alhaji Brigadier General Bureh Sesay from the holy land of Mecca, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he successfully performed the 2013 Hajj rituals.
Thousands of people from all walks of life converged on the Wilberforce Barracks Mosque for the special Juma Friday prayers to offer prayers for Alhaji Brigadier Bureh Sesay for having successfully completed the fifth pillar of Islam.
The officiating Imam of the Wilberforce Military Barracks Mosque, Major A.B.S. Kamara, based his sermon on humanity.
He commended Alhaji Brigadier General Bureh Sesay for having successfully completed the Hajj and prayed that Allah will accept his Hajj.
He described his boss as a dedicated Military Officer who has respect for everybody including little children as evidenced in the large turnout of people including Muslims and non-Muslims.
After the prayers the jamaat escorted him to his residence singing Islamic songs where they offered prayers for the him and his family.
