Cygan FC dedicates trophy to Morisson Sannoh
Newly crowned champion in the just concluded football competition at Kaningo community, Cygan FC have dedicated their trophy to the Chairman, Mr. Morrison Sannoh, who they said is a philanthropist, promoter and football ambassador within their community.
According to the Head Coach of Cygan FC, Mr. Zack Scott, Mr. Morrison Sannoh who is also the boss of the Eastern Region Football Association and a resident of the Koningo community has been very active as a true father of the people of their community promoting social and youth activities and especially providing football materials to all interested male and female footballers in the community.
He explained that members of his team are grateful for the support from Mr. Morrison Sannoh which has made them to to dedicate the trophy to him.
In a brief statement during the handing over of ceremony, Mr. Morrison Sannoh thanked members of the Cygan FC for recognizing his contributions in the development of football in their community and the country as a whole.
He assured them that he will continue to organize football galas in the community every six months to keep the spirit of sportsmanship high among the youth.
He said it was his ambition to see first division teams come from the Kaningo community.
He pleaded with all football loving families within the Kaningo community to become more united if they want to achieve their objectives.
