Police impound Tos-Marie Guest House

The Sierra Leone Police which is being termed as a force for good and for which millions of tax payer’s money has been spent to rebrand, has still not been able to rebrand itself from its corrupt activities in society.
Mrs. Mariatu Conteh disclosed to Sierra Express Media over the weekend how police personnel at the Waterloo Division have impounded her house at Liverpool Street off Pademba Road in Freetown, without a court order.
She explained that the Police Officers took upon themselves to evict the tenants who where residing at Tos-Marie Guest House, thereby depriving her of her livelihood.
“Everyday the guest house was making for me Le400,000. Now the Police Officers and their families are living there and are not paying anything to me,” she lamented.
When this paper visited Tos-Marie Guest House to verify the claims made by Mrs. Mariatu Conteh, the Police Officers at the place explained that they were looking for one Mr. Mohamed Conteh who has been involved in criminal activities but has since absconded.
Mrs. Conteh however told this paper that the house in question does not belong to Mr. Conteh but it belongs to her.
When contacted, the Crime Officer in Waterloo, Inspector Abdul Salam, explained that it was an order from the Director of Crime Services, Chief Superintendent of Police Ibrahim Koroma aka Sizeman for them to deploy at the Tos-Marie Guest House.
When contacted, CSP Koroma referred our reporter to the Police at Waterloo.
