Mahmoud Tarawally ex Deputy Minister of Education sent to Pademba Road

Mahmoud Tarawally (in photo), former Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Technology, today appeared at the Magistrate’s Court, Freetown, in front of Magistrate Tonia Barnette on an alleged rape charge and was refused bail.

Tarawally’s 15 high profile defense lawyers, headed by S K Koroma, alias “Borbor Kabba’ did not save him from being sent to Pademba Road maximum prison by Magistrate Tonia Barnette, with an adjournment until Thursday, September 19^th.
