Do you know an African NGO that deserves $100,000? Encourage them to apply for the ‘2013 ONE Africa Award’
It’s that time of year again- when we open for applications for the 6th ONE Africa Award. Every year, ONE presents its $100,000 Africa Award to recognize and support the work of African NGOs, campaigning for progress toward meeting the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). If you know of any interested and worthy organizations, please encourage them to apply directly to this link- http://bit.ly/13ZaJQP. Please also note that:-
§ The NGO’s must be Africa-based (NGOs founded or governed elsewhere, and operating in Africa are not eligible for the award, even if they are set up by Africans).
§ I’m just passing this along. I have no role in the vetting or adjudication process and cannot forward any recommendations or applications.
§ The requirements in the form must be met/completed in full. There are no exceptions or short cuts in the process.
§ The hard deadline for submission of applications is August 19, 2013.
