Rev. Hassan Mansaray of 4 HIM (SL) found guilty on 14-counts corruption charges

Rev. Hassan Mansaray, who is the President 4HM Sierra Leone and General Overseer, Lords Mission Church, and Abdul Aziz Bangura, Accountant 4HIM Sierra Leone, have both been found guilty for Misappropriating Donor Funds and Donor Property, meant for the running of various humanitarian projects in Sierra Leone, including the Wellington Secondary School, a micro-credit scheme, an amputee support program and the running of the Wellington Orphanage.

The two men were found guilty for misappropriating a total sum of One Hundred and Eighty Five Million, Two Hundred and Ninety Two Thousand Leones (Le: 185,292,000) and donated items meant for these projects, including Solar Panels, a Lister Petter Generator and Grufus Submersible Water Pump, which were discovered at his Mena Hills Hotel.

The Honorable Justice J.B. Katusi will pronounce sentence on 2nd August 2008. The two men, whose bail were withdrawn, are still in custody. The ACC prosecution was led by Imran Kanu, ESQ, and the defense was led by Wright and Co.
