His five minutes presentation during the summit attracted the keen interest amongst  multi-national companies and individuals that expressed willingness to invest in Sierra Leone

He was able to convince a lot of companies to invest in the huge potential of the Tourism and Agricultural sectors of the country.

After his presentation he also held a meeting with the interested investors and they requested for an urgent visit to Sierra Leone to meet with the Government officials and to also carry out business feasibility studies.

Hon. TBT said “during the meeting with the investors they expressed the needed for a vast land in one of our beaches as part of government commitment to the investors.”

Hon TBT said the investors intend to link the agricultural sector to the tourism sector in which investment in commercial farming will be able to supply the tourism sector.

In a brief interview with him whiles in Switzerland, he said investments in the Tourism and Agricultural sectors in a tip of the ice berg as there are others areas of interest around the world on the investment climate in Sierra Leone and that he will be travelling to Italy where he has also been invited to meet with investors.

He assured that his vision is to help President Koroma in achieving the Agenda for Prosperity by encouraging investors around the world to invest into the country.

The Hon TBT has made a lot of friends all over the world during his tenure as Director of Caritas Makeni and PaRD-SL respectively.

The keynote speech he added was was delivered by Dr Iain B. McIntosh, BA (Hons), MB ChB, Founder member, and Honourary Fellow, of the British Global and Travel Health Association, United Kingdom. He was speaking on the opportunities and the specifics of medical tourism in the world today.

Intense interest among the participants was aroused by the specialized investment panels in the course of which participants of the Summit could share their achievements in the professional activities and discuss future trends of possibilities for cooperation.

Investment Panel 1 was dedicated to presentation of the best profile companies of the world’s rating ‘ЕВА. Best Enterprises. Achievements 2013’ in such sections as: ‘New world tourist routes and resorts: municipal planning and building, infrastructure, attraction of tourists’ and ‘Presentation of the companies, which are interested in financing of the recreation and social projects and programs of the tourist industry, sport and entertainment’.

Investment Panel 2: ‘Medical and wellness tourism: clinics, spas and health resorts. Medical programmes, Diet and Healthy Nutrition’. Participants’ presentations became a platform for lively dialogue and constructive solutions.

Business meeting with Michael Derrer, Director General of Ascent Swiss Business Management AG (Switzerland) and Director of the Swiss Institute of Quality Standards (SIQS) was carried out with the main aim of the meeting  was for a mutual dialogue and consultation, discussion of Swiss companies’ interest in international cooperation, review of the certification production procedure, participants’ presentations, awarding the laureates – successful companies with SIQS quality certificates.

Socratic ceremony was held and the following winners were awarded with European awards ‘International Socrates Award’, ‘Queen Victoria’, ‘Best City’, ‘Best Enterprise’, ‘Best University’, ‘European Quality’, ‘The Name in Science’ and new members were welcomed to the Knight Order of Grand Master La Valette, International officer corps, International Club of Leaders. The owners of prestigious awards became about 80 participants of the Summit from 30 countries of the world.

The participants of the forum had the opportunity to attend the excursion on July, 2. The acquaintance with historical and natural attractions of Montreux and Geneva made a big impression on the attendees.

Almost all of the participants noted the excellent organization of the Summit and undoubted benefit for the further development and international cooperation.

The summit Hon. TBT said was dedicated to health care and wellness tourism it brought together government officials, industrialists, entrepreneurs, scientists from different countries and continents: the United Kingdom (UK), Switzerland, Romania, Belgium, Portugal, Cyprus, Slovenia, Albania, Turkey, Chile, Malaysia, South Africa, Sierra Leone, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Russian Federation, Ukraine, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Republic of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Senegal, Ghana, Angola, Qatar, India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Laos, Senegal.
