Director General Visits The Sierra Leone High Commission On The 21st June 2013

On the 21st of June 2013 the Sierra Leone High Commission in the UK had a pleasant but nail biting visit from the Director General (DG) Mrs Rasie Kargbo. Present at the meeting was the Deputy High Commissioner Mr. Tambar Ngegba, Head Of Chancery (HOC) Sahr P. Demba, the diplomatic staff and local staff.

The Deputy High Commisioner welcomed the DG and the HOC introduced the local and diplomatic staff.

The DG was extremely gracious in introducing herself to not only the existing staff but also the new staff that were recently deployed to the UK as part of the mission.

The message conveyed by the dg for the entire staff was that they should maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism as based on the presidents’ agenda on foreign policy.

As part of her very challenging job the DG was calm and poised in entertainting an audience who voiced concerns regarding procedures, were then assured by her that all parties concerned would be taken into serious consideration and acted upon.

It was an absolute pleasure and privelege having the DG visit the Sierra Leone High Commission in the UK as there is a sense of rejuvination and commitment. it must be said there is a boost in morale in all of the missions’ staff as she was extremely efficient in handling all parties concerned and addressed accordingly.
