Charles Margai arrested – threatens Sierra Leone state security and First Lady
Source reveals that Charles Francis Margai (in photo), Chairman and Leader of the People’s Movement for Democratic Change (PMDC), who earlier this week threatened state security and attempted to incite tribalistic unrest in Sierra Leone at a press conference at his Rawdon Street Chambers in Freetown, has been arrested.
Charles Margai, son of former Prime Minister Sir Albert Margai and nephew of Sierra Leone’s first Prime Minister Sir Milton Margai, in response to questions raised over an ongoing land dispute between him and Sierra Leone’s First Lady Sia Nyama Koroma, in a deliberate attempt to create civil unrest said he has no confidence in the police or justice system in the country and that he has at his command 20,000 members of the Civil Defence Force (Kamajors) ready to wreak havoc. In a veiled threat, he also stated that President Koroma would not finish his second term, but hopes that he does.
It is unrevealed at time of going to press where Margai is being held.

Charles Margai has in his warped brain that he belongs to the royal family and must rule Sierra Leone because it is his God given right. Those are treasonable utterances and he should locked up for state security. I knew the love nest between him and Koroma will not last. He is a fool period and we will not miss him. Let the government know that there is no place in a civilized world for such reckless utterances. Even in America those are not jokes and they are dealt with accordingly by jail times. His law license should be revoked because lawyers do not act that way. The PMDC he formed disintegrated quickly because he is a dictator. Charles Margai hear this, you will never lead Sierra Leone because you are not fit to lead.
