Nurullah Islamic Sports ends today

The Nurullah Islamic Primary and Secondary Schools Athletics meet, which commenced on Wednesday this week at the MAFA playing field, will end today with award of trophies and certificates to winning individuals and houses. It is expected that the trophies and certificates will be distributed by Haja Warah Marah in the presence of other distinguished personalities.

The four participating houses are, Mecca House, Madina House, Araffa House and Jidda House. Yesterday’s hit saw male and female competitors from junior, intermediate and senior categories participating in sixteen events and today participants will battle in thirty more events to determine the schools’ 2013 champion.

According to one of the competitors from Mecca House,  Kadija Kargbo, day one was peaceful and very entertaining.
