Acting Matron Defies Transfer Orders
Latest reports reaching this press are alleging that following the refusal of the Acting Matron Bo Govt., Hospital, Nurse Nancy Bayor and Nurse Massa to be transferred to another location has sparked negative mounting pressure.
According to sources within the Bo Government Hospital it is alleged that Acting Matron Nancy Bayor is in the habit of using junior colleagues to sell government drugs that are to be issued out free of cost at the hospital.
Sources also pointed out that she is not in the good books of the Doctors, which has actually caused her transfer. She has vehemently denied going on transfer despite several complaints and allegations against her.
This press however approached her junior colleague Nurse Massa for her testimony on how her colleague the matron has been fairing on but she denied talking to the press. She rather boasted that corruption does not only stop or limit to them as junior workers at the hospital, but stretch further and involves most of their senior personnel including Doctors who are part of the network or ‘cabal’ of drugs thieves.
It could be recalled, that the Government is facing serious pressure to the extent that the highest maximum fraud in the Health Ministry by senior Government Officials and Doctors to a point that Dr. Kissito Dabo and nineteen others are currently facing corruption charges for mismanaging the GAVI fund.
