Sierra Leone produces another musician Queen Terror
As Sierra Leone’s music industry gains momentum locally and internationally several musicians are making frantic efforts to improve the industry and make the headlines.
One such Musician making the headlines is Queen Terror with her debut album ‘Mama Salone’. The album is occupying the airwaves of most radio stations and seemingly gaining international recognition. It is the talk of town because it comprised of soothing melodies.
It is against this backdrop that Teresa Kargbo aka Queen Terror on 23rd February, 2013 stormed the Ne Height Complex, Allen Town with fans, music lovers to launch this much anticipated eight tracks maiden Album titled ‘Mama Salone’.
The Afro Gospel musician sings with a melodious voice in her didactic eight tracks (8) album. The entire hall went wild as she signs with thunderous applause and cheering.
Queen Terror, narrated that although a Nurse by profession attached to the Allen Town Health Centre, she was inspired by Lady Lurish and popular musician Rihanna both phenomenal musicians who have made their mark. She said in 2003 she did her first single compilation.
A product of the Freetown Secondary School for Girls (FSSG) unto to Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) level could not further because of lack of support and instead opted for Nursing but this has not distracted her from her musical pursuit.
She is pursuing a four year Midwifery Course at the Thunder Hill Community Nursing Center, Eastern Freetown.
This is her own way of taking Sierra Leone to another level in the music industry but does not mince her words in appealing for sponsors. “Producing an album demands a lot time, resources and money so am looking for sponsors,’ she told this reporter.

This is wonderful to have another lady in the music arena in Sierra Leone. However, the name “QUEEN TERROR” would be liability and a total distraction to her career. It just a harmless advice
