Dear Dr. Timbo: I congratulate you and the president of our Republic, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma on the wise choice he made in selecting you to be the new Minister of Labor and Social Security. Your appointment gave me an added confidence in the truth that President Koroma is in every sense a leader of men and ideal administrator. Even though I have not met with you before, I have learned a lot about you when you were in the USA, and when you were a representative in Parliament. Today, I am privileged to join the hundreds of people here in America and back home on your appointment paying you homage for your outstanding contributions in the agenda for change and now for progress.
Dr. Timbo, apart from your high level of education, I believe that your appointment is a manifestation of the high esteem in which you held in Parliament during the past five years and a good record many of us perceived in the USA about you. Some of us rejoiced in the recognition which has been accorded to you by His Excellency, the President of Sierra Leone. We pray that God may grant you the years and health to pursue your arduous duties as Minister of Labor & Social Security. God bless Sierra Leone and may God bless President Koroma. Once again congratulations!
