African Diaspora World Tourism Awards & Travel Expo April 25th – 27th, 2013 in Atlanta

Dr. Julius Garvey, son of the late great nationalist Marcus Garvey will be a presenter at the African Diaspora World Tourism Awards and Travel Expo. He will present our highest awards of the evening to the “African Diaspora World Tourism 2013 Person of the Year.”  A Pan-Africanist, Dr. Garvey  is a founding member and chairman of the Marcus Garvey Committee International, Inc., an organization that improves the economic, cultural, educational and spiritual condition of Africans all over the world.  (Photo: Dr Julius Garvey)

Also headlining the Africana Extravaganza is Linda Antognini, an artist who will debut “Project Tupac”, a collection of paintings that she did after listening to some of his songs hundreds of times. All Access Fee for General Public: $99 and $130 after March 31st. Includes: all events on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (except the Hall of Fame Luncheon)
All Access Fee for VIP’s: $149
Includes: all events on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and the Hall of Fame Luncheon

– Individual Events: Prices vary. These options are great for those who do not plan to attend all of the weekend’s events.

Africana Extravaganza $25 (dress code: afro-centric/ festive)

Hall of Fame Luncheon – $50 (dress code: (business/ semi-formal/chic)

Awards Ceremony Gala and Reception – $75 (dress code: strictly formal)

Travel Show Expo is free and open to the public on both days.
