According to the MP, President Koroma has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize and that if awarded, he would be the second African President to receive such an honor and continued that because of his stance on corruption, President Koroma has also been awarded by the American government, ‘Best Governance of the Year.’

According to Hon. Alhaji Chernor Serray Dumbuya, the President has also created a conducive environment for industrious Sierra Leoneans to conduct business adding that he has ‘tailor made’ his ‘Agenda For Prosperity’ to suit every sector of the country and gone beyond conventional protocols to focus on the country’s overall development.

He continued, “I welcome the President’s show of renewed commitment to transform Sierra Leone from one of the poorest to a prosperous and democratic country” and went on to assert that the nation is encouraged by the assurances of the President that his Government would continue to observe universal human values such as justice and dignity, bring government closer to the people through innovative platforms, appoint women to governance positions and deepen the decentralization process.

He further acclaimed the President for nurturing the culture of separation of powers, encouraging a regionally representative government, equal distribution of the national wealth, encouraging collaboration with the opposition, development partners and civil society in resolving problems through dialogue and attributed the achievements of the President to the massive infrastructural developments in the country.
