Sierra Leone’s Trade Minister named after ‘Four for Four’ victories
Following the victory of ruling All People Congress (APC) party in the last general elections, the newly appointed trade minister, Alhaji Usman Boie Kamara (in photo) has been named “Four-for-Four Daddy”.
Speaking to this medium, traders and other well-meaning Sierra Leoneans were very pleased over the appointment of what they referred to as the “poor man’s friend in the person of Usu Boie as Trade Minister. “We have baptized him with a new name,” one trader said.
They gave the acronym as follows:
U= unity is the key to success, meaning united we stand divided we fall, so let us unite to develop our country, Mama Salone.
S= surely all corners of Sierra Leone will be transformed to better Sierra Leone.
M= maintaining prize control will be my first agenda to take people out of the street and develop their lives for the better.
A= all citizens must put the interest and love of this nation above self.
N= never again will our traders be misdirected and abused by other people.
B= bring all Sierra Leoneans together on a platform of unity, justice and freedom.
O= of course, now is the time for us all to benefit from our resources as Sierra Leoneans.
I= I shall always be grateful to my fellow Sierra Leoneans.
E= everyone of us should commit him/herself to the development of the nation.
