Kandeh Yumkella: Arrives in Addis Ababa, dines with Sierra Leone’s President Koroma

ADDIS ABABA, January 26, 2013 – Following his participation at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos – Klosters in Switzerland, Kandeh K. Yumkella, UNIDO Director General and SRSG & CEO of the UN Sustainable Energy for ALL (SE4ALL), has arrived in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa to attend the extraordinary meeting of African leaders.  (Photo: President Ernest Bai Koroma talks with DG Yumkella)

Often described as a rising star in the United Nations system and one of the most inspiring and engaging leaders the African continent has seen, Dr. Yumkella will deliver special remarks to the African Heads of state.

Meanwhile, on the sidelines of the summit, Dr. Yumkella met and dined with his president H.E. Ernest Bai Koroma.
