Police Boss in Timber Trouble

The head of Blama police station in Small Bo Chiefdom Kenema is reported to have become visibly emaciated by worries over the big black out his lumbering activities have caused the Blama township. OC Kamara reportedly hired a tree cutter who recklessly cut down a giant tree which subsequently fell on the BKPS cables and cut them to pieces thereby plunging a large portion of the town into perpetual darkness.

It is not yet clear why the police boss decided to hire the tree cutter but this reporter gathered from affected residents that the OC possibly wanted to secure some timber for trading purpose. The affected aggrieved and frustrated residents are said to have made OC Kamara’s name the main topic of household gossip and the BKPS is reported to be mounting pressure on the OC to settle the damage.
