Sneak Preview: LAJ’s ‘Shock’ Feat. Cassidy

Rap pundits have already billed the Cathouse/Red Flag movement and the E1 Music rapper collaboration as the biggest thing to come out of Sierra Leone’s hip hop music industry.
‘Shock’ or ‘Leh Den Talk’ is the tentative title for the 5 min 5 seconds airplay. Cassidy opens the song with the intro saying; ‘’LAJ I need to come out to Sierra Leone…” followed by LAJ ‘’Leh Den Talk, Leh den Talk’
Like most hip hop music, the lyrics are directed at haters and those who doubt the ‘Money Nar Bank’ star.
The song is produced by Teteh, who is credited with the hit list of most all of Salone’s hip hop music.
Teteh says the song is produced at the G –unit recording studio in the United States.
The award winning music producer said although their connections here in the US was vital but it was not after they paid the price that the ‘Hotel’ star was able to appear on the beat of La.
Teteh said he is optimistic that this song will open more channels for them. He said ‘Shock’will make the RED ALBUM of LAJ which will be released in February 14th 2013 on Valentine ’s Day.
Keeping a tight lip on the others, Teteh says Cassidy is not the only big name to be featured on the RED ALBUM which is LAJ’s third. “Expect more surprises,” he said.
“With this RED ALBUM we are sure of turning the international attention to us rather than us going international,” he told SaloneJamboree in a snappy interview outside the popular Lux lounge in Washington D.C.
Teteh said the third album of any artist is always seen as a big challenge for that artist. He said they are aware and ready for the challenge.
He said work is ongoing on the RED ALBUM which will be ready on time for the release date.
