Workers Hail Labor Officer
Moisa S. Keikura, former Personal Assistant to the late Hon. Minister of Labor and Social Security, Mr. Hindolo Tyre has a wide range of experience working in various Departments in the Ministry. Investigations conducted by this medium indicate that Moisa S. Keikura deserves to be promoted to a position befitting his qualification as he can play a pivotal role in rolling out Government’s Agenda for Prosperity. Prior to the death of his former boss, Hindolo Sumanguru Trye, Moisa S. Keikura displayed a high sense of professionalism with the requisite skills to run any department in the Ministry.
Sources in the Ministry state that he is also considered an asset to Government and the All Peoples Congress (APC) party.
Another worker intimated on the condition of anonymity that Moisa goes to the office as early as 8 a.m. daily and that his relationship with them is cordial, stressing that he judges people based on performance devoid of tribal, religious, and regional considerations in the execution of his duties, one of the guiding principles of his success. He has played a vital role in mediating crucial labor issues between workers and employees that have endeared him to many.
According to a worker, whose employment issue was amicably resolved by the Ministry and was eventually compensated, Moisa Keikura defends their rights and does not compromise with employers who trample on their rights. This has resulted to him being the subject of vilification mostly by the certain sections of the media. Furthermore, he is a prolific writer on national issues that are critical of the opposition. These articles are published in most of the dailies.
When contacted, Moisa Keikura paid tribute to Minister Tyre whom he described as his mentor for five years and acclaimed him for what he is today, especially instilling disciplined and uprightness in him.
He also highlighted Mr. Tyre’s pivotal role in transforming the Ministries of Tourism and Labor and Social Security including the increase in its revenue generation base.
Moisa S. Keikura further revealed that the late Minister was development-oriented, that it was an opportunity for him to have worked with him and highlighted his sterling inter-personal skills and respect for all irrespective of status.
