AIG Moigbe is up to the task
In preparedness for Saturday’s polls, citizens have applauded the Sierra Leone Police for the cascade of initiatives that have been set forth to ensure peaceful and credible multi-tier elections. A random survey hosted by this medium has singled out the instrumental acumen of Deputy Inspector General Richard Moigbe.
It has also emerged that the deputy police boss has worked round the clock to ensure that the rank and file of the force meet their constitutional roles and responsibilities to qualify their status as a force for good. At the force’s headquarters on George Street it seems that Moigbe is an all rounder and a good number of the officers interviewed heaped praise on the Deputy Inspector General as if he is the only top ranking officer that is up to the task.
Quite frankly, police men and women spoke of his studious and no-nonsense nature and how he cares about the welfare of every personnel. AIG Moigbe, one senior officer told this press jokingly, is nicknamed ‘Never Absent, Never Late’ and according to him he has time for every purpose under the sun. Others say if the SLP could boast of ten personnel that has the audacity as industrious as that of AIG Richard Moigbe, the force would attain the best of standards in the sub region.
