President Koroma Bags OGI’s Excellence Award in Sierra Leone

The meeting which hosted state dignitaries such as the President Ernest Bai Koroma, Vice-President Samuel Sam-Sumana, members from across government functionaries, and other state actors such as members of the forth estate, took place at the Miatta Conference Hall, Youiyi Building, Old Railway Line Broookfields, Freetown. Chairman of the occasion, Osho Coker said the citizen report card, is the baby-child of his excellence aimed to assess his leadership based on the voices of the ordinary man, or better still society. He said this agenda is the first in the history of this nation which marks a sign of leadership change set as a precedent by H.E President Koroma.
While using PowerPoint technological analysis by the various experts characterizing the developmental results of the various targeted areas by the president. Top of the agenda are the areas of Agriculture, Energy, and health, which scored applaud-able results. Noting that though there are serious challenges ahead in other certain areas, yet the result put the President at the top of praises.
The occasion lent the voices of various important state actors, much to the recognition are the representatives of the other two Arms of Government, which are the ex-speaker of Parliament Justice Abel Strong, Chief Justice, Umu Tejan Jalloh, who reign heap of praises to the citizen report card, pointing to the president for having prioritize and push the nation forward in the limelight of development.
Taking the spotlight the president, Ernest Bai Koroma admonished his people that his conception of political power before assuming ascendancy, had always thrived under the spirit to change the negatives trend of political cultures and belief.
He continued to cite his records of achievements saying his stewardship is supported by his fellow-country-men and political subordinates who helps to grace his agenda for change to reach this height. The president maintained that the conception of this idea to give life to OGI was supported by fellow political-mates and comrade Honorable Political Affairs Minister, Alpha Kanu, and Honorable Minister of Communication, Ibrahim Ben-Kargbo, for having shared the support initiative to bring it to light. He also thanks the Director of OGI Kadijatu Sesay, for having conceptualizing the idea.
The President goes on to say that all the concern raised in the report card will be addressed if the people of this nation voted him into office for the second term in office.
