Porno cops stand tribunal today
The Head of Complaints, Disciplinary and Internal Investigation Department (CDIID) at Sierra Leone Police (SLP) chief superintendent William Fayia Sellu (photo) said the two SLP officers who were flown back from international duties in Darfur on allegations of being pictured in a pornographic footage, will today face the SLP tribunal to answer on charges on indecent performance while serving in the capacity of police officers representing Sierra Leone on international duties.
According to the CDIID boss, the two SLP alleged porno stars will be arraigned today in the SLP’s tribunal court following their voluntary resignations few days ago in Darfur Sudan, where they were serving under the United Nations.
Chief Superintendent, Fayia Sellu, promised to take severe action against these two officers: Sergeant Ben Sieh and Inspector Gladys Parkinson if found guilty of any offence. Before that disclosure, the Director of Human Resources, Assistant Inspector General (AIG), Kalia Sesay, stated that the resignation of the two disgraceful police officers followed a correspondence sent in Sudan – urging their arrival within the 13th-14th July 2012.
In another development, Director of Human Resources, SLP, revealed that there is currently enough vacancies for promotion of serving officers in the force. He called on all interested police officers to apply and take advantage of the offer.
