Airtel Rising Stars launching – Dwight Yorke jets in town today
Ex-Manchester United legendary footballer, Dwight Yorke jets into Sierra Leone today on board a special Kiwi International Flight. The much eagerly awaited Airtel Rising Stars football competition will finally be held tomorrow, on Wednesday May 16th at the National Stadium’s Presidential lounge in Freetown at 8:30 a.m.
Airtel’s special guest, Dwight Yorke will join Airtel officials to launch the company’s Rising Stars Competition for 2012, which will soon commence across the country. The best two male and female football stars from the competition will be traveling to the Manchester United clinic in Tanzania later this year.
The launch is going to attract high profile football stakeholders in the country and the National School for the Blind (NSB) will be receiving items donated to them as part of Airtel’s cooperate social responsibility.
Dwight Yorke who plays along side Andrew Cole, Neville brothers, Roy Keane, Solsjaer, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, and many others, will depart to England on Thursday 17th May 2012, courtesy of the expense of Airtel Company.
