No SWASAL Live Commentary for Sierra Leone Vs Sao Tome 2013 Nations Cup Match
The Executive of the Sports Writers Association of Sierra Leone (SWASAL), wishes to inform the general membership and the public at large that the association will not carry out any live commentary on the Sierra Leone Vs Sao Tome 2013 African Cup of Nations qualifying match scheduled for Wednesday 29th February 2012 in Sao Tome & Principe, as was the case during the Leone Stars’ 2012 qualifying matches.
This is because, SWASAL’s major sponsors – Mercury International (SL) Ltd – did not get back to the association despite a letter informing the company about the said match together with a comprehensive budget sent to Mercury Int’l (SL) Ltd. two weeks to the date of the match.
The Executive of the Sports Writers Association of Sierra Leone (SWASAL) regrets any inconvenience (s) this may cause to especially the majority of Sierra Leoneans who lately depend solely on SWASAL’s commentary for Leone Stars’ Nations Cup and World Cup qualifying matches.
