From the President of PSL: A Thank You Letter

On behalf of the Patriotic Sierra Leoneans organization – PSL, “Thank you!” Thank you for attending and supporting the launching of PSL on January 05, 2012 at the Miatta Conference Hall. I would like to welcome all new members and I hope that you will make the most of your membership to make our country, Sierra Leone, a better place.

Patriotic Sierra Leoneans – PSL is extremely grateful to HFC Mortgage & Savings Bank for sponsoring our launching on the 5^th of January 2012. HFC Bank has clearly displayed a sense of patriotism for our country.

I want to take this opportunity to publicly thank our able Inspector General of Police Mr. Francis Munu for stepping up to the plate and delivering the keynote address on a very short notice. What a speech!

From the bottom of my heart and the PSL membership, I would like to thank all the Government Ministers that attended the launching event to include Honorable Rtd. Major Alfred Palo Conteh – Minister of Defense, Honorable Alimamy P. Koroma- Minister of Works, Honorable Professor Ogunlade Davidson- Minister of Energy and Power, Hon. Victoria Saidu Kamara, Minister of Tourism and Culture and Honorable Ahmed Khanu- Deputy Minister of Land Country Planning and the Environment, Director of Military and Staff, Director of Prisons and staff, head staff of the police, Principal and students of FSSG, Principal and students of Prince of Wales School, Principal and students of St. Joseph Convent, Principal and students of St. Edwards School, Principal and students of all the other schools who made their presence felt at the programme, the office of Diaspora Affairs, the office of ABC Secretariat, the office of OGI, Office of the President & Ministry of Political Affairs and staff, Chiefs and civil societies. A special thanks to all those that intended to attend but for some reasons could not make it.

A warm thank you to all the distinguished speakers of the launching – The Rev. Cannon A. Nicol, Chief Imam of Sierra Leone , Mr. Charlie Haffner, Mr. N. Kosso- Thomas, Mrs. Maude Peacock, Rapture Kids fame.

I will not conclude my thank you letter without mentioning Ms Nanette Thomas- Iron Lady, Mr. Foday Mansaray, Mr. Sallieu Conteh, Mrs. Abibatu Koroma – Diaspora Office, Dr. Francis Dove-Edwin, SLBC and staff, Universal Radio and staff, Star Radio and staff, CTN Radio and staff, and all those that were with me thick and thin during the planning of our launching event.

Finally to all the Patriotic Sierra Leoneans that attended and support the launching event, THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! AND THANK YOU!!!
