Searchlight 9/9/11 – MODAC: a succeeding project

The meaning of MODAC is ‘Mobilizing Drivers for Attitudinal Change.’ This is a project established by an innovative businessman, Chief Michael Lamin Bangura, who has brought together drivers from all over the country to operate under his flagship company ‘BANLAMIC’ in the understanding of President Ernest Bai Koroma’s fervent and uncompromising call for attitude and behavioral change.

The Searching Man knows Chief Michael Bangura needs not be introduced as he is a man of values and virtues and has made so much impact in the transport sector of this country; he is regarded as a legend.

Folks can recall that it was this same man that brought the BANLAMIC International Poverty Alleviation Programme (BIPAP).

Drivers were allowed to receive on loan heavy duty vehicles and pay in bits for long period.

Most of those drivers are now proud owners of vehicles and are making decent livelihoods.

Though living a low profile life, the Seracher who owns the most powerful beam has rediscovered him.

As if a sweet perfume, there is no way the good works of Chief Michael Lamin Bangura can remain unnoticed.

Matthew Dingie is a re-builder

Whenever The Searching Man tells you anything about somebody do not just wave him off as a confounded gossiper; he always says the truth.

Some months ago, he told you that Mr. Matthew Dingie, the Director of Budget at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development is a master builder of houses and owns fleet of vehicles.

Folks of Dingie thought the Searcher was merely engaging in idle gossip.

Now, the Searching Man has the pleasure to invite all of you folks who care, to come and behold the recent two masterpiece mansions that this great builder has just completed at Back Street in Kissy and Allen town.

And don’t forget that Dingie has also built a house for his mother-in-law at Sankey Street in Kissy. He also has a powerful one at Metzger Street in Kissy.

So, tell me anyway, who then is this man and how can he help in the rebuilding of a ravaged nation such as Sierra Leone.

The man with the beam doffs his light to him.
