Chinese envoy to attend ceremony marking 50th anniversary of Sierra Leone’s independence
As a Special Envoy of Chinese President Hu Jintao, China’s Minister of Agriculture Han Changfu will attend a ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the independence of Sierra Leone, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei announced in Beijing Friday. The ceremony is scheduled to be held in Freetown, capital of the western African country on April 27, said Hong in a news release.
