Rwanda secure first Group H win

The victory for the Amavubi puts their Group H campaign back on track after losing their first two group matches.

Jean-Claude Iranzi put Rwandain the lead in the 34th minute but the visitors drew level through Faty Papy three minutes later.

Rwanda were back in front in the 45 minute thanks to Elias Uzamukunda.

Eric Gasana struck with just one minute remaining to seal the victory for the home side.

Ghanaian coach Tetteh had been under pressure from the fans to quit the post after losing their opening two matches to Ivory Coast and Benin.

The other two teams in the group clash on Sunday in Accra.
