GFA set to unveil Goran Stevanovic Jan 12

Sierra Express Media can confirm that the 44 year old who coached Partizan Belgrade in the Serbian League title last season will be unveiled at a news conference in Accra on Wednesday 12 January at 10.00am.
Stevanovic who becomes the third Serbian to manage the Black Stars in six years finalized his contractual details with the GFA late Monday, 10th January 2011.
He could however take charge of a first game in a friendly against a yet-to-be named opponent on February 9.
Both Goran and GFA have successfully negotiated with the coach and he will replace his compatriot, Milovan Rajevac.
Stevanovic was one of five coaches short-listed to replace Rajevac which included former France World Cup winner Marcel Desailly, Aduana Stars coach, Herbert Addo and former Portugal manager Humberto Coelho.
The new Black Stars technician is a former Yugoslav international who spent most of his playing career at Partizan Belgrade before spells at clubs in Spain, Portugal and Greece.
