Cadet draws out this Saturday

Sierra Express Media has been informed that Rwanda local football (FERWAFA) is expecting the eight qualifiers to be represented by their authorities, CEO Jules Kalisa stated.

6pm GMT is the kick-off time for this all important draw; however earlier today Sierra Express Media have learnt that Rubavu Stadium is still under Construction for the 2011 Junior Championships, but officials are certain it will be ready by December this year.

Over the weekend five teams seal their place for the Championship, they are defending champions Gambia, Gabon, Senegal, Mali Eaglets, and Ivory Coast.

Two times winner Ghana was disappointed after they loss to Senegal on penalties. Senegal will be in this Championship for the first time ever.

Rwanda host qualify automatically, Egypt easy access to the tournament after Mauritius withdrew.

Meanwhile, The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has amended the schedules for the Rwanda 2011 African U-17 Championship and the 2nd African Futsal Championship.

The cadet championship has been shifted forward by 24-hours and will now take place from 8-22 January, 2011 in Rwanda whilst the Futsal Championship will be held from 3-17 April in Burkina Faso

The second edition of the Futsal Championship was initially slated for 15-27 December, 2010.

The Gambia are the reigning champions of the African U-17 Championship, whilst Libya emerged winners of the maiden Futsal Championship on home soil in 2008.
