FC Johansen Offers Fans Special Bonanza On Waka Waka Show
Freetown – General members of the public in Sierra Leone stand a chance to win grand prizes in the new Waka Waka radio show that will come up on air this week. The show which is set to launch on Thursday on five radio stations across Freetown will offer a unique opportunity to Sierra Leoneans to win prizes like exclusive tickets to matches on the tournament which kicks off on the 27th of this month. Participants on the radio show also stand the chance to win mobile top up units from Comium Sierra Leone Limited who are going to support the radio show. “This is a very good opportunity for lovers of football out there to have the chance in getting free access to matches of the AIY tournament and also win airtime credit from Comium,” said John Konteh, consultant of FC Johansen. The main hub of the show will be Radio Kalleone, FM 105.7, the programme will also run on Free Radio, FM 95.7, Culture Radio, FM104.5, Freetown Radio, FM 90.7 and Premier Tok Radio, FM 104.1.
An alternative version of the show will be aired on radio stations based in the eastern part of the city like Choice FM, FM 102.7 and Citizen Radio, FM 103.7.
The Waka Waka radio show main aim is to bolster public awareness of the upcoming FC Johansen organised annual African International Youth Football Tournament which will see six foreign teams battling it out with FC Johansen and the Sierra Leone Under-20 side for the Madam Trophy.
The Waka Waka radio show will also be podcast and streamed live on the internet by Mediatel on www.sierraleonefootball.com.
