The former Mighty Blackpool and Dynamo striker is a confident person – some would even say he is a brilliant goal getter –and he has raised eyebrows this season when he declared that he is now ready for a national team assignment despite so much competition in the present squad.
In a recent interview with the APEP player, Allie says: “I think I did well in all aspects in my junior level helping my country U17-U20. Now a professional I am ready to give my 100 percent of the game, scoring goals and winning the trophies with my club side.
“Now I am in Europe, and playing regularly, so I don’t know if that is not enough to at least get me a call-up for National duties come next year when Sierra Leone will be taking on Niger in Niamey. Maybe it is a sign that I must still do more.
“I am sure Head Coach Cole is aware of what he wants; maybe my style doesn’t fit into what he is using at the moment. But I believe my chance will come as long as I am playing in Europe,” Allie reasoned.
