Salone Healthcare services in New Bedford, MA ships medical equipment and supplies to Sierra Leone
Salone Healthcare Services Corporation, a Non-Profit Organization registered in Massachusetts dedicated to saving lives in Sierra Leone, has completed its first shipment to Sierra Leone, a forty-foot container of medical equipment. The basic objectives of the organization are:
- To combat infant mortality, post natal mortality, malaria, Typhoid eradication, HIV AIDS prevention and various tropical diseases. The organization will also focus on health education, disease prevention and treatment.
- Support and assist in developing culturally sensitive competent and empowering programs, which will focus on improving the health status of the poorest inhabitants of targeted locals in underdeveloped areas of Sierra Leone.
- Encourage greater cooperation amongst underdeveloped areas by creating opportunity for healthcare professionals interested in promoting quality, affordable health care delivery opportunities
