Friday is a Public Holiday

The Office of the President has declared Friday 10^th September 2010 as Public Holiday throughout Sierra Leone to mark the end of the Holy month of fasting

The Public Notice from State House reads: The Office of he President wishes to inform the general public that the Feast of Eid-ul-Fitri, marking the end of the Holy month of Ramadan will be observed on Friday 10^th September 2010.

In this connection, Friday 10^th September 2010 is hereby declared a Public Holiday throughout the Republic of Sierra Leone in celebration of the Eid-ul-Fitri.
