ABC and Audit Service Commission ransacked
The office of the Attitudinal and Behavioural Change (ABC) and the Audit Service Commission all in Youyi Building Freetown, on Monday 16th August have been robbed by unknown thieves who broke into the office and carted away some valuable office documents, computers, and cables.
Speaking to the ABC Program Officer and Spokesman, Alieu Kamara expressed great dissatisfaction about the theft. Because this was not the first time thieves have broken into their office and stolen their office documents and computer hard drives which contained all their program activities. He stated that this was the fifth time their office had been ransacked by unknown burglars. He blamed the Ministry of Works who failed to provide stringent security in the office as that was their mandate to take care of the building and provide security.
However the police have intervened as investigation is in progress for the two offices as no suspect has yet been nipped.
