JABC wins SLRU election in Kenema
Report reaching the office of the National Secretary of the Journalists for Attitudinal and Behavioral Change (JABC) has revealed that the concluded SLRU election organized by the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) has added more feathers on the cap of senior executive members of JABC in Kenema.
As the report disclosed, all the top positions were retained by JABC executive members in Kenema which includes the position of Regional Chairman, Assistant Secretary General, Public Relations Officer and more.
The victory was a laudable one as the national executive members of JABC were highly impressed about the success of their regional members. Adding to this success the head office is pleased to also announce that the National Communication Officer of JABC, Mr. Dauda Musa Bangura of the Torchlight Newspaper has also successfully clinched the position of the of Public Relations Officer of the SLRU.
This achievement within our members in JABC is timely as the success of our members clearly depicts significant role of our members in the field of professional reporting and their interpersonal relationship within and amongst colleague in this of our noble profession.
In view of the above let me used this opportunity to implore on all media practitioners that JABC is like mind media organization that was formed to transform the media culture of this country through positive mental attitude in the field of journalism for the common good of the development of our country.      Â
