Zain Fambul tariffs brings perpetual smiles to its subscribers
It is no longer a secret that GSM operators in this day and age are now giving to their valued subscribers perpetual amusement in the communication world. To make this a reality, Zain has introduced the cheapest tariff system called ‘Fambul Tariff’. Zain hopes the new system will make communication easy for their customers whenever they want to use their service.
What truly impresses me is that all the telecommunication operators in the country – Africell, Comium, including our proud telecommunication company SIERRATEL now have different promotions to encourage their subscribers. But the new “Fambul Tariff†that has been launched by ZAIN has clearly manifested the compassionate nature of the company to transform the high rate of tariff in the communication sector to meet the belt of the common Sierra Leonean to chat on the phone as long as they can afford.
The Fambul tariff, which was launched on the 30th June 2010 at the Miatta Conference Hall, was a symbolic program which has showcased the company’s outstanding performance in making communication cheap and accessible to every body in the country.
It may be recalled that Celtel which Zain took over from has been operating in the country for the past ten years. Zain, which has taken over the company, is emulating and even doing more than its predecessors. The launching of the Fambul Tariff marked the golden jubilee of the company and I have the conviction that Zain has more goodies in store for their subscribers and the country at a whole.
Adding to the above, Zain is operating in 52 countries providing innovative telecommunication solutions for their valued clients. The inception of Zain operation in the country has contributed a lot in the socio-economic development of the country. By this I mean Zain has improved the lives of our young people, because some of our brothers and sisters have gained employment from Zain; no one can dispute that fact. The company has respect for the educational sector in the country by building schools, providing educational materials for schools under the company’s Build our Nation Project and giving opportunity to our university students to take part in the Zain African challenge quiz competition in order to expose them to the world of academic excellence.
The company has been very instrumental in the government’s development strides by assisting the government especially towards our national team and local sport. The company amongst all GSM operators has paid 22 billion Leones to NRA under the Goods and Services Tax Department which will boost the Authority’s revenue generation drive. Communities have also benefited from the company’s corporate social responsibilities.
The Fambul Tariff has clearly put the company’s position to subscribers out there to make an informed decision as to which network they should subscribed to. The new tariff which offers 9 units per minute between 12 pm – 5 pm, 12 units per minute between 7 am – 12 pm, 12 units per minute between 12 am – 2 am, 1 unit per minute from 2 am to 5 pm and lastly from 5 am -7 am 12 units per minute.
This promotion has given all Zain subscribers the unique opportunity to talk more for a cheaper rate.   It is now time for people to make use of this offer, because such an offer has never been provided by any GSM service provider. Let’s talk with Zain to make our communication cheap and easy!
