APC Propagandists and apologists are shamed
One of the criticisms that I levy on President Ernest Bai Koroma is that he appears to be carried away by flattery and affectations. Or, it may be that he loathes to take needed drastic action because of a soft heart for people. I have often wondered about his feelings towards those who specialize in putting across what they would like his Excellency to hear rather than what he ought to hear and perhaps take corrective action.
From the outset the leadership of the opposition SLPP had called attention to the divisive way in which the President continues to make public appointments. His flatterers tell him that we complain because we have been left out of government and bla, bla, bla. Some have said that we are clamouring to be included in the APC cabinet. We have denied religiously that such was our intention or ambition.
We have said repeatedly that THERE IS NO REGIONAL BALANCE in the President’s appointments, either in cabinet or more especially in the public sector like heads of parastal boards. We have never asked that they must include members of the opposition.
We continue to insist on a regional balance, but our concerns have always been treated with scorn by those around the President and more especially in pro APC newspapers. In its Wednesday June 23 edition the opposition Unity newspaper published a list of heads of public bodies under the APC with a corresponding list under the SLPP government of President Tejan-Kabbah. I reproduce it here for the benefit of readers and the public at large to see that we are a responsible opposition which bases it’s criticisms on facts.

It could be seen that under the SLPP of 24 chairmen 9 or just over a third of them were northerners; in comparison with the SLPP no less than 16 or two-thirds of the chairmen are northerners. Such is the glaring disparity between the two. So who is refusing to join his Excellency for development?
Yet the APC apologists keep fooling the public about how the President has embraced the whole country for development. I have repeatedly challenged the Director of the office of Diasporas affairs in vain to publish a list of those he has placed in employment with their regional backgrounds since the office was established. Others of the President’s men keep drumming it in our ears how since assuming office the President had transformed the lives of the people of this country for the better as evidenced by the smiling faces in the streets.
My goodness! When fuel price was raised by a thousand Leones per gallon, the public was told that there would be no increase in transport fares. As of today commuters are paying Le1,000 from Le900 before the increase, no smiling faces there!

pa who please grow up and stop fooling your people. They have being fooled enough by there very own on numerous occasion. Enough politicking talk development that what we want to hear about right now. When the New APC came to power in 2007 if you can recollect. Your present SLPP secretary general if am correct was warning both your people and supporter not to work with this administration . thus you guys become saboteurs in other for the world to become worried about the young charismatic leader Ernest Bai Koroma ,may Allah blessed and direct him . The world have seen very clear what you guys are trying to do and what you guys stands for. STOP THE SHOCK WE ARE GOING TO SHOWER THIS LEADER WITH ALL PRAISES DUE HIM. We need unity in other for our country to develop . Yet you guys are busy spreading the bitter pill to your people and sabotaging the country as whole . We are tired of those long oxford and Harvard speeches which we used to hear . Honestly to a poor man like me they sound rubbish as long as the basic facilities of modern times are still a privilege to your thoughts. Poverty do not know tribe, religion,or sex. Honestly you lot have not been good to that people and the country as a whole. This president deserve praises. Along the line he will make mistakes. yet he is human . So you are in your last days take your loot back to kailahun for proper investment and you will be remember for some of the few good you would have done .Don’t leave your loot in the swiss banks as you guys normally does, only for it to be used by the swiss govt.
