CHME in Le50M Contract with Bo Artist

An entertainment industry in Sierra Leone known as Chocolate House Multi-Media Entertainment (CHME) has signed Solomon Koroma aka V-Stung based in Bo City at 30 Wellington Street in Freetown on Monday, 1st April, 2019.

Speaking at the press conference, Legal Adviser for CHME, lawyer Victor Ansumana maintained that the Le50M contract will last for 10 years adding that it’s started from April 1st this year onwards.

He presented a letter of clearance for the artist to receive the sum of Le50M at any Key Stone Bank branch across the country before he was given Five Million Leones (Le5m) as wardrobe allowance.

The Legal Adviser made it very clearly that they don’t care or want to know how the newly signed artist is going to use the money because he said, its belongs to him and promised that he will be put on three months’ probation or experimentation period and if he proves well, the lawyer said, he will start to receive Five Hundred Thousand Leones as monthly salary

He assured that there is room for increment of salary after six months if the artist works according to the expectation of the industry and promised that a Saloon Car will be provided for the artist by the industry.

Lawyer Ansumana admonished the entertainer that he has a huge task to compete healthily with other musicians locally and internationally and urged the signed artist to realize that the label is looking out for best talents. He said all music or vocal, video and launching would be sponsored by the entertainment group and mentioned that the most important aspect in the whole chapter is to promote people with talents.

“Do things that would keep you going”, he told V-Stung and wished him all the very best in his career.

Speaking on behalf of the entertainment group, Mr. Kandeh Mansaray stressed on the important to help talented people in society and encouraged V-Stung to not relax but to work harder and proves himself to meet the expectation of the industry.

In his response, the newly signed singer who is also a Studio Engineer by profession said he started singing at the age of seven (7) and produced his first album in 2012 adding that he is currently preparing to launch his second album.

“I feel honored and grateful to be part of this entertainment family because I know the weight of the opportunity”, he told participants and continued that “I will give the very best of me and everything about me will be exclusive”, he thrilled audience.

V-Stung concluded by expressing appreciation to be given such a great opportunity and assured that he will not let the industry as he said, it has made him proud and belong.
