He maintained that their organizations are responding to the clarion call for assistance towards survivors. These are people that are in need of help and therefore we saw the need to intervene and complement government efforts in supporting these survivors. Yesterday these people had families but today they don’t have any families due to the mudslide and flooding episodes in mama Salone.

“We pray that Allah the comforter will take absolute control of the situation. There is need for all of us to be together as a family in these trying times and be supportive of one another’’ he stated.

He mentioned 2,000 kg of rice, 540 kg of sugar, 204 Liters of Vegetable cooking oil, 1,250 pieces of tomatoes, 500 packets of salt, 12 cartoons of laundry soap, 3 cartoons tooth paste, 2 cartoons tooth brushes, 27 cartoons of milk and 2 cartoons of Maggie as the items bought to supply the survivors.

Members of the above mentioned organizations hailed from the neighboring Guinea and Sierra Leone before immigrating to America.
