Don’t come back if you disrespect us… Joe Ledley warns Bangura

Joe Ledley has issue warning to Sierra Leone striker Mohamed Bangura in photo, who is currently on loan from Celtic FC to the Swedish side Elfsborg after a disappointing tenure at Parkhead.

According to media reports in the United Kingdom Ledley wanted the flop striker to skip the match out of respect for the Glasgow club or Bangura will be found guilty of disrespecting Celtic by playing on Wednesday night.

Ledley said: “If I was in the same position as Mo Bangura I probably wouldn’t play out of loyalty and respect to Celtic.

“He’s contracted to the club – I don’t think it would be the best move for him.

“If he scored the winner and knocked us out of the Champions League then it would be difficult for him to come back. That’s why he must think before he plays. It’s difficult but it’s down to him.

But the 24-year-old Sierra Leonean front man is set for an incredible return to the east end of Glasgow Wednesday night for the first leg of the Euro qualifier with his loan club Elfsborg.

The Celtic manager Neil Lennon asked the Swedes not to play the Sierra Leone striker but boss Jorgen Lennartsson insists he’ll feature.

The player caught in the crossfire is in Glasgow today with the rest of his teammates.

But many soccer pundits believe Bangura’s loyalty is to the club paying his wages.  “If Elfsborg pay your wages then you have to do the best you can for them. You have to be a professional, they analysed.
