CTTS on HND courses
As the education system in the country continues to dwindle, the College of Travel and Tourism Studies (CTTS) has taken another step introducing new Higher National Diploma (HND) courses for its past students with certificates and diplomas as way of upgrading their careers in both the Freetown and Lungi Campuses in the country.
Principal of the College of Travel and Tourism Studies, Amadu Sheriff, in an exclusive interview with Sierra Express Media, at his office, second floor, Roxy Building, boasted that his college has been contributing towards upgrading the country’s human resources. He said a good number of employees at the air transport sector were products of his college.
He said the new courses include: HND in Tourism and Hospitality Management, HND in Air Travel and Management, HND in Business Administration and Management.
He said the college has strengthened its resources in terms of learning materials and lecturers to cover the remaining courses offered in the college since its foundation over a decade ago. He maintained that national and international certificate and diploma courses in Logistics and Transport Management are also offered alongside courses like certificate and diploma in Travel and Hospitality Management and certificate and diploma in Air Travel and Management.
CTTS is accredited by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) and the National Council for Technical, Vocational and other Academic Awards (NCTVA). It is also the only centre in the sub-region for the IATA examinations.
